In memory of Kath Evans

Collette Evans is raising money for Michael Sobell Hospice
In memory of Kathleen Evans
Giving a gift in memory of someones life has great meaning and allows you to honour and remember their legacy. Many people choose to ask friends and family to make a donation to the Hospice in place of buying flowers for their loved one's funeral.

Story

Our specialist teams work together to provide free specialist palliative and end-of-life care services across the London Borough of Hillingdon and surrounding areas; this is done at the Michael Sobell inpatient unit in Northwood, and through our Hospice at Home services. We have a longstanding history in our community. The Michael Sobell inpatient unit opened in 1977, and Harlington Hospice was founded by a number of neighbours, led by Reg and Mary Hopkins, in 1984. Our teams work to ensure that people in our community experience a journey towards the end of their life that is comfortable, peaceful, and free from worry and pain. The hospice care we provide isnt just about people experiencing a good death. We also provide respite care to loved ones and relief from challenging symptoms for people living with an advancing illness, so they can continue to live life in a way that feels meaningful to them.
