Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am running The Spine Race in January 2012. It involves hauling my body by foot over 268 miles of the Penine way in just 7 days (38.5 miles per day!) A task enough in itself, made worse by the tough January weather conditions and limited daylight hours. I will carry almost all of my kit (with the exception of food which will be picked up at two of the five checkpoints) so will be living almost self sufficiently.

This has been dubbed "Britains most brutal race" so I would be grateful if you could show your support and encouragement.

The charity works with past and present soldiers of the Royal Regiment of Scotland and their direct dependents to help provide care and support. With the number of operational tours completed in recent years, support is much appreciated.
