Story

Event Description:

The Colliers Bristol office is hosting a 9-mile canoe challenge in aid of St Peter's Hospice, taking place on Tuesday, 4th October 2022.

Participants will be asked to pair up in a team to canoe from Kerne Bridge to Symonds Yat East, challenging other teams to complete the trip.

This is the perfect way to explore the Wye Valley whilst donating to a fantastic cause.

Timings:

10am: Coffee and safety briefing at Wyedean Canoe & Adventure Centre.

10.30am: Mini bus to challenge starting point at Kerne Bridge.

11am: Canoe challenge begins. Route will take you from Kerne Bridge back to Wyedean Canoe & Adventure Centre.

2pm onwards: BBQ and drinks at The Royal Lodge Hotel.

How to take part:

  1. Please ensure you have already registered your team through the Colliers event registration page. If you haven't done this, please contact: UKevents@Colliers.com.
  2. Please donate a minimum of £120 for your team, which covers the cost of your teams participation

Invoice payments: If companies need to pay by invoice, please email: events@stpetershospice.org with the subject 'Colliers 9-mile canoe challenge' and request an invoice.

St Peter's Hospice:

St Peter's Hospice is Bristol's ONLY adult hospice caring for local people with life-limiting illnesses. Our commitment is to improve the quality of life of patients while extending care and support to their families and loved ones. All of our care is provided free of charge, but it costs us around £20,000 a day to provide that care. For most of this money we rely on Gifts in Wills, donations, fundraising and our shops.
