The Little Princess Trust provides real hair wigs, free of charge, to children and young people who have lost their own hair through cancer treatment or to other conditions. The charity is also one of the largest funders of childhood cancer research in the UK.

Story

Treasure Quest is back...again! Hosted by the Colliers Birmingham office.

Thank you for visiting the fundraising page for Treasure Quest 2022, in aid of The Little Princess Trust.

The Colliers Birmingham office is delighted to be hosting our fifth Treasure Quest on Thursday 13 October and are looking forward to welcoming many of those who joined us at our four previous successful events, as well as those who will be taking part for the first time.

Treasure Quest 2021 was a huge success, so we’re aiming to make this year’s event even bigger and to raise more much-needed funds for the charity The Little Princess Trust, which supports children and young people who have lost their hair through cancer treatment. The charity is now also funding vital research leading to kinder and more effective treatments for all childhood cancers.

Treasure Quest was created by Martyn Edwards, a Director in the Birmingham office of commercial property company Colliers. He is a stage 4 cancer survivor, and after going through chemotherapy and losing his hair he decided he wanted to help children going through the same experience.

Martyn explains: “Losing your hair through chemotherapy, can be a big hurdle to overcome in terms of confidence and dealing with day to day life. For children and young people, this is particularly challenging and having the support of a charity providing high quality wigs can make a real difference.”

To date Treasure Quest has raised over £40,000 for The Little Princess Trust, and in 2019 Martyn was made an ambassador by the charity.

So, how can you get involved?

Participants in Treasure Quest use different modes of transport to navigate their way through different counties by collecting clues along the way, starting at Shelsley Walsh Hill Climb and finishing at Baskerville Hall in Wales. Participants can choose their own route and are encouraged to wear fancy dress. There have been some superb costumes over the years, and we’re looking forward to seeing some fabulous creations this year!

You can enter a team in any mode of transport by donating a minimum £100 sponsorship, or by setting up your own fundraising page to raise that amount and more.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the The Little Princess Trust.

Treasure Quest has received fantastic support from individuals and businesses each year, in the form of donated items for the auction and sponsoring through logos on the event marketing material. We again welcome other corporates to sponsor alongside Colliers on the start, finish gateway banners and marketing campaign raising awareness for this fantastic charity.
