I have been a member of The Wick for more than 10 years. In that time the number of injuries have gone up and my batting average has gone down.

However, the enjoyment I get from being just a small part of such an amazing club is immense. I've found lifelong friends and make new ones every year.

We have great plans for The Wick - and to achieve those we need cash! So, in the coming months/years expect some more fundraising efforts.

But for now, I will be running 21km (13 miles) to raise some dosh to make sure many more people get the chance to play for our great club and enjoy what it has to offer.
