Salsathon! for Colombian Human Rights · 26 November 2010

The London Legal Support Trust supports the work of social welfare legal centres in London and the Home Counties. Funds raised are targeted to assist requests for help from the centres. This financial aid helps the legal centres overcome funding crises, develop new services, support appeals and improve their premises.

Story

We support human rights defenders in Colombia, where since 1990 over 400 human rights lawyers have been killed. We are UK members of an international lawyers delegation, the CARAVANA, which investigates and monitors human rights violations. Last November supporters danced in defence of human rights with the first ever "salsathon", and raised nearly £3000.

On May 16th we will field a team in the LONDON LEGAL WALK, organised by the London Legal Support Trust. Colombian lawyers need international support and you can help. Please be generous with your gift.

If you would like to join us and for further information please contact colombia.caravana@gmail.com

Thank you for your support, many people giving a little mounts up to a lot.
