Nottingham Trent University Jailbreak · 24 March 2020

We’re Mind, the mental health charity, working across England & Wales. We believe no one should face a mental health problem alone. We’re here for you. Whether you’re stressed, depressed or in crisis. We’ll listen, give support & advice, & fight your corner. Thanks for fundraising for national Mind.

Story

On the 24th March 2020, members of NTU Colonel’s FC will set off from Nottingham Trent University on a mission to get as far away from this site as possible, without having to pay for travel.

While this is going to be much fun for all involved it is also important to remain focused on the objective; to raise money for the MIND charity.

On the 17th January 2020 we challenged ourselves, and successfully, to sit on over 20,000 sits in three venues across the city of Nottingham (Notts County FC, Theatre Royal, Royal Concert Hall). We would like to thank Notts County FC for allowing us to use their facility and Royal Concert Hall and Theatre Royal for being incredibly hospitable, even leaving a member of staff with us to support for the hour it took to complete those two venues. Furthermore, BBC Radio Nottingham were great and helped to broadcast the event on both their Breakfast and Drive Time shows.

Any donations are welcome, no matter how small, and we hope that this project will allow awareness to be spread and money to be raised for a very important charity.
