Story
Thank you for visiting Computing's fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor us online.
Computing has been supporting Computer Aid International for three years and we are taking part in the Kenya Cycle Challenge to raise money to help the charity continue with its valuable work of sending reconditioned computers to the developing world.
Computing editor-in-chief Toby Wolpe and senior reporter Dave Friedlos will cycle more than 400km in five days across savannah plains, parks and tropical rainforests to raise funds for the IT education of more than 1,000 African children. Toby has been editing Computing since December 2004 while Dave joined the publication six months ago. Both are training hard in preparation and looking forward to the challenge.
Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor us: Computer Aid International will receive your money faster and, if you are a taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you.
Computer Aid is a registered charity and the world's most experienced and respected not-for-profit supplier of professionally refurbished computers to developing country educational and community development organisations.
So please sponsor us now!
Many thanks for your support,
The Computing editorial team.
