Hey everyone, Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page

Concord Rangers under 11’s squad have set themselves a challenge to run the distance from Lands End to Wembley stadium ., roughly 300 miles!  to raise Monday for the Indee Rose trust. 

They will complete the challenge by each running individually during their daily exercise until they have reached a combined distance of 300 miles between them. They aim to do this between now and Easter Sunday . I will track their progress and keep this site updated along side their Twitter feed . 

Wembley stadium is especially relevant to us as our first team made it there for their FA trophy final before lockdown and a lot of the kids witnessed their exciting journey to get there. They miss their football so much, (playing and watching live), and so this is also a great way to keep them connected, motivated and well in mind and body. Not much reason for lands end other than it’s very well known landmark and we felt was a fair target distance to cover 😂  . Who knows if we smash the initial distance sooner that we hoped we might well extend the distance further! 

We are supporting the Indee rose trust who are an amazing charity based locally to us who do amazing work to support children with brain and spinal tumours. their work carries on throughout this pandemic and they need support more now than ever.

We have put a time scale on our challenge to try to complete the 300 miles before Easter Sunday. This is 8 weeks away. The kids are tasked with contributing as much as they can each week and knowing them as I do I know they’ll be relishing the chance to do their bit to support this amazing cause! ! 

In order to evidence their efforts they’ll be sending me a selfie/pic of where they are and then a screen shot from whatever app or watch they use to track it. I’ll then keep updating our Twitter and this site to keep track of the mileage until they make it! 

We have set our target at £500 which would be incredible and well received and an achievement the kids would be very proud of.
