Whilst most of us find elements of our lives have stopped, cancer hasn’t – it does not stop. Just as before the Coronavirus pandemic, each day nearly 1,000 people receive the devastating news that they have cancer. Our own experiences are amplified to the extreme - for those living with cancer it is a period of fear, uncertainty, loss of control, extreme isolation and a longing to recover and get back to ‘normality’. For the past 26 years Look Good Feel Better has offered its unique confidence boosting support to people living with cancer. 

We are currently unable to run our transformational workshops in 141 hospitals across the UK but we are determined to keep offering our unrivalled support through online tutorials and self-help materials which are constantly being updated. 

Our hospital and cancer centre partners have always acknowledged the profound importance of our face to face group sessions so we have swiftly created Virtual Workshops, enabling people to come together, share experiences, learn new skills and feel less isolated. We share information, knowledge and advice and in doing so help create a sense of camaraderie and normality during a time which is anything but normal.
