Connie was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL) when she was 4yrs old. By the age of 5 she had lost her hair, her mobility and was in constant pain due to side effects of high dose chemotherapy and steroids. It has been a challenging couple of years for her but now approaching a year post end of treatment (August), she is rebuilding and looking forward. She has started running and is keen to give something back to the Marsden - through George and the Giant Pledge.

 It isn't easy for her to run a mile - considering she couldn't even walk a mile a year ago but with her spirit and drive, she will do it.
