Story

Nearly 7 years ago, my older brother, Rhudi, was diagnosed with a brain tumour. This has greatly affected all of our lives. Brain tumours are a cruel disease and I am so lucky to have my brother still with us. Since 2016 Rhudi and my family have supported this charity. I have lost a young friend to a brain tumour and within the last year we have lost two more young people in our community (only age 17 and 21). So please support me, this charity is so important.

I have decided to run 100km over the month of march as it is Brain Tumour awareness month. I am not a runner so this a huge challenge and any support will be incredibly appreciated. As with many other charitys, the pandemic has been really hard for the Brain tumour charity, as they have not been able to hold fundraisers.

The Brain Tumour Charity is the world's leading brain tumour organisation and the largest dedicated funder of research into brain tumours globally. Committed to saving and improving lives, were moving further, faster to help every single person affected by a brain tumour. We're set on finding new treatments, offering the highest level of support and driving urgent change. And were doing it right now. Because we understand that when you, or someone you love, is diagnosed with a brain tumour a cure really can't wait.
