Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Hi, my name is Connor I am 11 years old.

For those that don’t know me too well whilst I enjoy swimming
(when it was possible) and the outdoor activities through Scouts, I generally
am not an active kid.  I enjoy video playing
games on the PS4, catching up on social media and watching blogs from followed
gamers.

However, since seeing the news on Sir Captain Tom Moore
completing 100 laps of his garden to raise money for the NHS it has inspired me
to raise money for a local charity.

I have chosen Woking and Sam Beare Hospice and I’m sure they would
really appreciate the contributions that I am able to raise.

My £££ goal is to raise as much as possible by walking 26.2
miles in 7 days, but my target is £1000. The idea for the distance came from
the London Marathon which unfortunately was unable to happen this year due to
the Covid19.

The idea of walking it in a week is simply because I go back
to school. Every day, my goal is to walk approx. 3.7 miles and I intend on
doing this without my parents following behind (have to maintain the social distancing too).

My personal goal is to carry this on beyond this challenge
and become more active and take part in other activities along with becoming
more confident.

I will be adding daily blogs to my page to keep everyone updated
on my progress.

Many thanks in advance for any donation that you make.
