In just 30 days, I will be running my first (and probably last) London Marathon in memory of my beloved Nan, Bridget McGowan who passed away following a battle with Alzheimer’s on the 10th January 2021.

I will therefore be raising money for the wonderful charity; Alzheimer’s Research UK. Their powerful mission to eradicate this horrible disease, is something my family and I truly believe in. Your support and donations means that people don't have to face this condition alone, and that together, we can build a better tomorrow for everyone affected by Alzheimer’s.

I have seen first hand how the vital funds raised by this amazing charity not only helps those individuals who suffer from this heartbreaking disease but offers support to those closest to them.
