Our beautiful son Connor passed away in the early hours of New Years Day 2012 at only 14 years old.  That day our life was forever ripped from us, never again will our lives be the same.  A very rare condition known as 'Dravet Syndrome', a severe form of epilepsy, took him from us.  

His seizures started on Christmas Eve 1997 at just 4 months old.  Upto 4 and a half years old he developed well but Dravet Syndrome, in it's classic form, took that away and regression started.  1000's of seizures took the son we once knew away but the love, as a parent, enabled us to fight this condition all the way.  Connor was our hero, he showed so much love to everyone who came into contact with him.  We were so proud of him, he exceeded so many goals.  We love you Connor and miss you terribly.

Our work is to now stop this from happening to our dearest friends and extended family who are fighting everyday to keep their children alive.  Just this past year Dravet Syndrome UK and the DSF have started funding research.  We are on our way to treatment and a possible cure.  Pharmaceutical companys have no interest in research as there is no profit for them, we must fund this research ourselves.

We have had so many beautiful cards and Connor's home is full of flowers.  Can we please ask you to donate instead to help our other Dravet children and families.  Although we are having flowers for Connor's funeral we would rather a donation as flowers last for that special moment but a donation would go further.

Oceans of tears have fallen for Connor.  Please help us to not shed another ocean for another child.
