Dover Volunteer Police Cadets Heritage Team, have chosen to raise funds for British Lung Foundation in honour of our colleague - Tommy Tucker-Smyth. Tommy was a key part of the Police Cadets, helping to support and guide them. With strong working relationships with various heritage site volunteer groups, we shall be starting/finishing at former military heritage sites, whilst passing several others on route. Supervised by Cadet Leader Mark Ball, and accompanied by Capel Battery Project Manager - Mr Chris Harman. Our Heritage team have been working at Capel Battery over the past year, assisting with excavating Nissen huts, gun emplacement, etc. Mr Harman has a passion for both former military sites as well as the Police Cadets. Currently a Staff Sgt with the Army, Mr Harman will be walking alongside our team of dedicated Cadets.
