I am running the 2023 Royal Parks Half Marathon for Grief Encounter. It is a charity supporting children, young people and families who are experiencing mild to moderate difficulties caused by the death of someone close. It also takes enquiries and provides schools and professionals with advice and talks. As too many people sadly know, bereavement at a young age can be incredibly upsetting and in some cases a transformational life event. Therefore, I am sure you will agree with me that Grief Encounter is an incredibly worthwhile charity.
