Royal Parks Half Marathon 2014 · 12 October 2014 ·

We‘re the world‘s leading cancer charity dedicated to saving and improving lives through research. We fund research into the prevention, detection and treatment of more than 200 types of cancer through the work of over 4,000 scientists, doctors and nurses.

Story

Last year, shortly after the death of our old Dad, Niamh and I ran our first ever half marathon to raise funds for the amazing and vital work of Cancer Research.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our friends, colleagues and loved ones, we raised over three grand.

We want to do more. But we’re not going to ask you to sponsor us to do the exact same thing as we did last year. So we’ve set ourselves some targets.

Conor pledges to complete his half marathon in 90 minutes or less. Niamh promises to do the same in 105 minutes or less.

And if we don’t, we pledge to continue doing half marathons until we reach our target times.

So please help set us well on our way to midlife arthritis in our knees and ankles and, slightly more importantly, helping find a cure to beat cancer once and for all.

Do your thing so we can do ours.
