Laura's 500 mile pilgrimage challenge for cancer

Welcome to my Just Giving page telling you all about my challenge!
My name is Laura and in May 2016 I will be walking the Camino Frances pilgrimage route through France and Spain for 32 days in memory of my own mother and 31 other people who battled cancer.
This journey is called Conversations with Rose, rose being the symbol for love and beauty but also a dedication to my own mother Rose-Mari who died from cancer in 2011.
I'll be documenting the journey on http://www.conversationswithrose.org/, telling the stories of 32 people by dedicating parts of my walk to their lives.
In doing so I hope to raise a substantial amount of money for The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity.Their efforts fund pioneering work in cancer research, diagnosis, treatment and care.
I'll be walking in celebration of special people, hoping to inspire by telling their stories. This is an opportunity for me to share how we view loss and how we celebrate loved ones and in doing so raising money to fund treatments to help future families dealing with cancer.
