Team Cool Blue is taking part in The Big Tees Sleepout in Middlesbrough on April 20, raising much-needed awareness and money to help tackle homelessness and poverty in the Tees Valley.

For us this will be just one night away from a warm bed but sadly, for the many homeless people in our region, it’s a daily reality.

We’ll be raising money for the Middlesbrough and Teesside Philanthropic Foundation, a charity that provides support and funding for some of the neediest communities in Britain. All funds raised from this event will be used to support local food banks, the Salvation Army Christmas Toy Appeal and homeless initiatives on Teesside. So far the charity’s sleepout events have raised £115,000 – and we’d love to add to that.
