Bardet-Biedl syndrome (BBS) is a rare genetic disease affecting every organ system in the body. BBS begins to affect the health of a child before birth and continues to affect daily activities throughout life.

Story

We are raising funds for the 2020 BBS Walkathon to support the research and advancements at the Marshfield Clinic for BBS. We are participating to support Amy's mom, who was diagnosed with BBS at the age of 58. She is an inspiring advocate for BBS and we are proud to support her and the great research MCHS is doing.  We are also walking in support and remembrance of Amy's very favorite uncle who passed away as a young man in his 50's due to heart conditions related to BBS.
