This July, I will be once again taking part in a Macmillan Mighty Hike, and this one is the most difficult yet, the Jurassic Coast. Having become a seasoned professional with two completed hikes in Scotland and the Peak District, I am once again putting myself through sheer pain for a great cause.

Macmillan, alongside any cancer charity, will always have a special place in my heart. What kept me going during the previous hikes was the thought of my mum looking down on me and thinking how proud she was (also probably thinking why on earth am I putting myself through so much pain).
