I am taking part in The Great North Run on 9th September and need to raise a minimum of £400 for SANDS. I want to raise £1000 because 15 babies die everyday before they are due, at birth, or shortly after and I believe no mother should ever have to endure the loss of their baby.

I am just completing the Couch to 5k program with Run Free in Llangollen, so I have a lot of training to do ready for the half marathon but I am confident I will smash it!
