I am taking part in the VHi women’s mini marathon September 2021 in aid of Children’s Health Foundation at Temple Street Hospital. My sister Emma is joining me as ‘Team Cora’.

In September 2020 my daughter Cora was born with a condition called sagittal craniosynostosis and so our temple street journey began!  She was admitted to  St Gabriel’s ward at just 5 months old for cranial vault remodelling surgery. This was a huge surgery for a small baby but she is recovering really well. The option of having this surgery at such a young age is life changing for Cora and many other babies and children like her. The only consultant in Ireland that treats babies like Cora is in Temple street Hospital.

We as a family are so grateful for the care Cora received and will continue to receive. We would like to give something back. This small gesture can make a big impact so any donation would be greatly appreciated.
