Story

I'm running the Great North Run in memory of one of my wonderful late clients, Pat Park. Sadly, Pat spent her final days at St Catherine's where she was treated with so much tenderness and care. I know Pat and her family were so grateful and moved by the sheer care, love and devotion they were all treated with. They even made her a bailey's cocktail for both her and her sister, she was thrilled with that, it was such a lovely touch, and from her room she had a lovely view of the birds and squirrels which made her happy for the time she spent there. I would love to be able to give something back to say thankyou for all the fantastic work they do.

Whilst there has been no official announcement regarding the Great North Run going ahead, unfortunately, with the current situation I think it's very unlikely, but I've been training for it and I'm determined to still run the 13.1 miles on Sunday 13th September and will do so around Scarborough if this is the case.

Charities need support more now than ever during these difficult times.

Thankyou for taking the time to read my page and supporting me in raising much needed funds for St Catherine's Hospice.
