Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
MSA is a extremley rare condition, it stands for Multiple System Atrophy, which affects the central nervous system and gradually deteriorates the whole body. My wonderful, amazing mum was diagnosed in December 2005, after 7 years of fighting this awful condition she passed away this July. The care my mum recieved was amazing, we had carers 4 times a day, as well as nurses and doctors. When my stepdad would need a good night sleep, a nurse would come in and sit with my mum throughout the night.
Because or MSA's rareity, its generally not a known cause, The MSA trust works hard to raise awareness about this devasting condition and are always aiming to research and identify its exact cause, aswell as new treatments and most importantly a cure. They are the only charity dedicated to MSA and provide services and support groups to those who are affected and their family of this disease.
My mum was my world and I miss her more than anyone could imagine, thats why this charity is so important to me. I really want to raise awareness and help fight for this cause which is so close to mine and my family's hearts.
So please dig deep and donate now.
