We‘re the world‘s leading cancer charity dedicated to saving and improving lives through research. We fund research into the prevention, detection and treatment of more than 200 types of cancer through the work of over 4,000 scientists, doctors and nurses.

Story

Everyone knows someone effected by Cancer.

It's a long and difficult path to walk, not just for those that receive such a significant and life altering diagnosis but for those around them.

I know one such brave man battling this arduous fight, Stephen Dawkins. Please join me in raising money to help people like him have a better chance of having access to more effective treatments.

Running 20km/12miles/half marathon twice for this cause. Once across Snowdon in July and once in September through the streets of Newcastle with the Great North Run. Please help me raise funds for this excellent charity which funds research into potentially  life saving medicines, it's a long way to run but is a short struggle in comparison to a mile in a cancer patient's shoes.

Please help by sponsoring me for one or both of these events or one of the other events that I will do throughout the year (another Triathlon, anyone?) or donating to this excellent charity.
