As you are aware my daughter Alysia has suffered from scoliosis over the past 4 years. On the 2nd March 2018 Alysia underwent a back fusion operation at Addenbrooke's Hospital to correct her spine.

Since her operation Alysia has made an amazing recovery from her operation which is due to the fantastic staff at Addenbrooke's and her consultant Mr Crawford.

Scoliosis is quite common in children with around three or four in every 1,000 children needing treatment for scoliosis in the UK.

So that I can show my thanks to Addenbrooke's Hospital and the amazing Scoliosis and Spinal team, I have decided to challenge myself to a undertake my first ever Half Marathon.
