Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On 16th May 2015, Sally and I will begin a journey along the Cornish Coastal Path at Cremyll. The journey will take us 14 days and during that time we will travel 300 miles and climb around 59,000 ft (The equivalent of climbing Mt. Everest twice), before finally crossing the border into Devon near the village of Morwenstow. We are making the journey in order to raise money for cancer research. I have wanted to walk the entire Cornish coast since I was a teenager so thought it would be a good idea to do this now in memory of my mum Alice who lost her battle with cancer in 2012. Auntie Helen and Auntie Glenda will also be in our thoughts, both of whom had cancer related illnesses.

Here is a list of the points we will stay at during the 300 mile trek:
  • 15 May - Cremyll
  • 16 May - Looe
  • 17 May - Charlestown
  • 18 May - Portloe
  • 19 May - Mawnan Smith
  • 20 May - Cadgwith Cove
  • 21 May - Hendra Farm
  • 22 May - Porthcurno
  • 23 May - Zennor
  • 24 May - Portreath
  • 25 May - Crantock
  • 26 May - Harlyn Bay
  • 27 May - Port Gaverne
  • 28 May - Crackington Haven
  • 29 May - Morwenstow
