Story
PiP supports adults with learning disabilities to be as independent as they can be, to learn throughout their lives and to access and play a meaningful role within the community. By supporting PiP you will be directly helping this very vulnerable and socially isolated group of people to live their lives to the full. They can't do this on their own and need PiP to help them learn key life skills such as reading, writing, safe travel, work, and being healthy. Your help will enable people to achieve their potential and live brilliant lives!
I am an avid social runner, regularly participating in park runs, good gym runs (combining running & volunteering) and midnight runners sessions. However this will be my very first half marathon - its been a long time coming! Fuelled by the encouragement of my running buddies, I am excited (and also a little terrified!) but so looking forward to this journey and supporting a wonderful charity.
No donation is too small - £1 gratefully accepted! Please check this page for my training progress updates. I can't wait to start fundraising!
