Cats Protection is a national charitable organisation founded in 1927. It is Britain's oldest charity solely for the welfare of cats.

Coventry branch was founded in 1954 by six local volunteers. The branch cares for between 50 and 100 cats and kittens at any one time until they can be placed in new homes. All these cats and kittens are looked after by foster parents, who are all volunteers

This branch helps hundreds of needy cats, including finding new homes for 450 to 500 cats and kittens every year.

We also run a neutering campaign to help owners who cannot afford the cost of the operation. Every year we help sponsor the neutering of 900 to 1000 cats in and around Coventry.
