Our mission as a charity is to help prevent child labour and empower young people to fulfil their potential through education, vocational training, and life skills.  However, because of the government lockdown in Bangladesh due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, we have had to close our training academies during this time.   As all the students who attend our training academies come from poor impoverished backgrounds and families, we have made a pledge to continue to support them and their families during this unprecedented and difficult time for us all.  The government simply cannot meet the needs of its people so it lies at the hands of those people more fortunate and better off than they are and those that Allah (swt) is testing.

Therefore, we have made this pledge and are attempting to raise our target to provide each students family with a combined food package & small sum of money so that they and their families can eat and buy medicines and other basic necessities that they need.   With just a £20 donation you will feed a poor impoverished family in Bangladesh for
an entire month, even if this does only consist of the basics like rice, dhal, oil and a few vegetables……..which is nothing compared to the luxurious foods and takeaways that we still have access to in the UK, even though we are too in the controlled lockdown environment.

As a board of Trustees which have targeted to try and raise enough money to support our students and their families during this pandemic for an initial 4 month period and make Dua (prays) that this will be enough time to come out of the lockdown there (and everywhere).  We envisage that by Allah’s will this will also provide a bit of time to enable things to get back to normal, which we all know will not happen overnight……Therefore, please support us by donating anything that you can, whilst noting the following statistics:

• £20 will feed 1 of our students and their family for an entire month.
• £40 will feed 1 of our students and their family for a 2 month period (or 2 families for 1 month)
• An £80 donation will support an entire family for the 4 month period
