Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

We are supporting Bolton Lads and Girls Club in their plight to ensure that no child in Bolton goes hungry through the current lockdown.

Unfortunately the pandemic has caused many families in our town - who previously would not require this support - to now be in real need.  Families who have lost their jobs through no fault of their own and fall short or are awaiting support from the government.

These families are struggling to provide basic food and essentials for their families and we want to ensure that we can support them.

BLGC has committed to delivering 100 lunches per day and weekly/fortnightly food and essential parcels to 257 families… and counting.  Cowgills is working with local restaurants and cafes to assist with providing hot lunches, however we also need your help!

We are asking if you can donate whatever you can to our page, to enable us to buy food and essentials so that we are able to  create much needed packs for struggling families across our town.

We can and will do all we can to help tackle the increasing levels of poverty in our community. No-one should go to bed cold, unsafe or with an empty belly.

Thanks in advance for your help
