Loch Ness Marathon & Festival of Running – Marathon 2015 · 27 September 2015 ·

From small beginnings in the year 2000 FOMO now looks after thousands of children through a network of 14 centres covering over 95 villages. FOMO Provides Health Care, Formal and Informal Education, Food Security and Daily Activities. Everything raised will go to Malawi to Help the children.

Story

In 2006 the Coxhead brothers visited Malawi at the ages of 9, 11, 15 and 17, spending 3 weeks with Friends of Mulanje Orphans. We experienced first hand the difference we can make when we reach out to help each other across the world. FOMO feeds up to 5000 children every day, without FOMO these children would have little hope for the future. Many friends were made during our stay, and we promised to continue or support for the charity in whatever way we could. This is why, in 2015, we decided to enter the Loch Ness Marathon along with fiance Laura, and girlfriend Josie, to raise urgently needed funds to maintain FOMO's commitment to feed and care for these children.
