Silverlining Skydive Fundraiser 2023 · 1 September 2023 ·
Welcome all to the most thrilling, gravity-defying spectacle of bravery ever witnessed. We present to you the daredevils of the Compensation Protection Unit (CPU) team: Keeley Allen, Beth Evans, and Sarah Hartley, who are about to take the leap of a lifetime in support of The Silverlining Brain Injury Charity!
Picture this: three individuals, equipped with parachutes and nerves of steel (or at least the appearance of steel), ready to plummet from the heavens on the 1st of September in the enchanting skies of Salisbury. Why, you ask? Well, aside from having a questionable relationship with gravity, these fearless CPU members have set their sights on an ambitious target: raising a whopping £1,800 for the incredible Silverlining Brain Injury Charity!
The CPU team at RWK Goodman supports clients and their families following brain injuries and other catastrophic lifechanging events. This includes protecting clients assets and ensuring their care and rehabilitation needs are met. Our aim is to become a lifelong legal companion to our clients and their families.
But let's not forget the real reason behind all of this: supporting The Silverlining Brain Injury Charity. This incredible organisation provides vital care, support, and hope for individuals and families affected by brain injuries. By donating to our skydiving extravaganza, you're not only helping Keeley, Beth, and Sarah conquer their fear of heights but also making a significant impact on the lives of those in need. Silverlining offers opportunities for all those affected by brain injury to become involved in exciting and purposeful activities within their community. They organise free and low-cost activities in the community to encourage members to reconnect, grow and discover something new. Their activities and support are inclusive for all abilities as disability should never be a barrier to personal achievements. The charity's work engages brain injured people in a way that invigorates, motivates and rehabilitates them to discover a sense of purpose, social structure and added meaning to their lives.
So, dear friends, strap on your virtual parachutes and prepare to dive into the world of charitable giving. Help us reach our goal of £1,800 for the Silverlining Brain Injury Charity. Every pound donated gets us closer to making a difference. Together, let's show the world that gravity-defying stunts can change lives.
Your donations enables The Silverlining charity to continue running their events and activities which provide crucial support to those with brain injuries and their loved ones. With an individual experiencing a brain injury every 90 seconds, the need for Silverlining's work is growing every day. As they offer their services free of charge, every penny truly counts.
Thank you for your support, and may the winds carry our fearless CPU members safely to the ground (preferably in one piece)
