Glasgow's Golden Generation has been providing care and support for those in their autumn years for 70+ years. Our charity aims to improve the quality of life for older adults in Glasgow through support services from our 2 day care centres, clubs, befriending and welfare advice.

Story

We have eleven brave Ashurst colleagues Zip lining across the river Clyde to raise money for Glasgow's Golden Generation!

Glasgow's Golden Generation, formerly Glasgow Old People's Welfare Association, has been supporting Glasgow's older generation since 1948.  Ashurst want to raise money and help support their great work across the city. The charity works throughout Glasgow to prevent loneliness, social isolation and poverty in older adults. Services provided by Glasgow's Golden Generation include 3 day care centres, a citywide befriending project, welfare officers and over 100 weekly clubs. In 2018, the platinum anniversary, they aim to reach even more older adults across the city and continue their vital work in the communities of Glasgow. With your kind donations we can help make this happen!
