I’m taking part in The Great North Run (13.1 miles) for the 3rd time this year having taken a break from running for a while!

My good friend, Tom Godwin was born 10 weeks premature and has a condition called

Hydrocephalus (in old money, water on the brain)

There is no cure and it is a serious, yet manageable condition

He’s only 32 but has endured an incredible 62 operations during this time yet despite this, runs an active an positive life
