I have been inspired by my brother Daz’s ultra events over the years and decided to dip my toe into the world of ultra running. Instead of these crazy multi-day events I am going for a nice flat one day run from Glasgow to Edinburgh, which is a 56 mile run on river paths and road.

I have decided to fund raise for MUG as they are a fantastic charity and I have been involved in a number of events they have done over the years. Recently a close friends family member was diagnosed with prostate and bone cancer and it brings home how important this charity is by raising awareness of male cancers and helping people who are suffering with this.
