Together with members of my family and friends we shall be travelling from Cornwall to Barcelona in September on the Banger Rally Challenge!  Setting off on September 20th in 4 old bangers, we hope to reach our destination in 3 days with some crazy challenges along the way!!

We would all really appreciate it if you could kindly donate some of your hard earned cash to our chosen charities; of which you may or may not be aware that these are close to our family's hearts.

This is just one of the events that we shall be doing to raise money for, not only Bowel Cancer West, but also for Bosom Buddies and The Oncology Trust Fund (Throat Cancer).  We shall also be holding a family fun day at the Racehorse Inn at North Hill on 27th August 2012 (Tel 01566 786916 for info) and a Charity Gig Night at The White Hart Hotel, Launceston on Saturday 20th October - get your dancing shoes on!

Bowel Cancer West (BCW) is an established fund which has been formed to improve ways of diagnosing and treating patients with bowel cancer.  This can be done by supporting the training of Doctors and Nurses who look after Bowel Cancer Patients and by funding clinical research into Bowel Cancer in the West country . It is has been established to further support and develop the activities of the colorectal unit at Derriford Hospital, Plymouth.
