Story

Our cat Oscar was rescued by the SSPCA in 2015, he had been brought in to the Glasgow shelter after his owner could no longer take care of him. After 5 years together he sadly lost his long term battle with chronic kidney disease.

To remember him and support the work of the SSPCA I have set myself a challenge of running a marathon. I had previously signed up for the Loch Ness marathon but unfortunately it has since been cancelled, I'm about 6 weeks in to my training plan so rather than stop now I'll be running laps of Strathclyde Park on the 4th of October until I reach a marathon.

My employer have also stated they'll match any donations up to £1,000 - if you donate £10 they'll donate £10 too, so I've set myself a target to raise at least £1,000 to make the most of this offer.
