Story

This year I'm taking on the challenge of completing the Edinburgh Marathon on 28th May. As a non-runner this is pretty daunting challenge to embark on, but one I'm determined to succeed at.

I've decided to to raise money for the My Name'5 Doddie Foundation as they fight to find a cure for Motor Neurone Disease. Approximately 1,100 people are diagnosed with MND every year in the UK, and up to 5,000 adults in the UK are affected at any one time. It’s a disease that has touched my friends and family over the years, and it’s a privilege to be able to raise money for a charity that does so much incredible work to support the individuals and families that go through that experience.

The My Name’5 Doddie Foundation has two aims: firstly, to raise funds for research into the causes of MND and investigate potential cures, and, secondly, to make grants available to sufferers of MND and enable them to live as fulfilled a life as possible.

You can find out more about this amazing charity at www.myname5doddie.co.uk

Thanks for your support with my EMF 2023 JustGiving challenge! My page donations will be sent direct to My Name'5 Doddie Foundation in a fast and secure way. It's efficient, saves time and cuts costs for the charity.

Thank you for your support.

Let's do this!
