Since I was a young kid I played rugby league, loved the game!!! Still do!! Was lucky enough to get to play alongside some great people in some great teams!!! Including Hull FC in the academy and 2nd team before eventually moving on to have a great career with Featherstone Rovers, playing against, and later on for other teams with the late great Steve Prescott (his charity is supported by the FC Community Foundation). Now through age and injury I have given up on the idea of playing in a grand final, so I figured I could ride to one and raise some much needed money for some great causes, including 'life for a kid', 'disabilities trust' and as I said above 'The Steve Prescott foundation'. So together with 15 other riders I'm riding to every English super league ground and ending at old Trafford for the grand final, riding over 200 miles over 2 days!!! This is taking place on 9th October and I need to have raised £300 by the middle of September and another £300 by the event!!! Any amount donated would be greatly appreciated!!!
