We are the national charity for anyone affected by mesothelioma. A preventable cancer caused by exposure to asbestos. Your generous donations allow us to support people with mesothelioma to live better, longer and to prevent mesothelioma happening to future generations.

Story

We are aiming to complete a team 5k challenge
which equates to 200 lengths of a 25m pool on Sunday 29th April, we are hoping to achieve this in under 90 minutes between us.

Each of us will swim a minimum of 1,250 metres (50 lengths) continually, given there are 3 of us, I'll be swimming 100 lengths..

My daughter and I participated in last years Swimathon as photographed on my page.  My son was keen to join in this year having been a little too young to give it go last year. Unfortunately, I could not persuade my wife to give it a go which would have made it a true family affair, there’s always next year!

For this years challenge, I wanted to fundraise for the Mesothelioma UK Charitable Trust, Mesothelioma has impacted upon a number of people I have had the pleasure of knowing and I very much hope you will be able to support me raise funds for the Trust.

Thank You
