Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

My father has had wonderful treatment and end of life care from Northern Ireland Hospice. They really are a fantastic organisation with caring staff and great resources to help at the darkest of times. The support given to us all as a family through these days and weeks has been second to none.

Without their help we wouldn't of been able to provide dad with the comfort and dignity required at this hard time. As a way of thanking them for this care, I have signed up to their annual Stormont Park 5k and 10k run on 8th December 2019.

Running 10k can be hard enough anytime, but in December I'm sure the weather won't be too kind! But I feel that NI Hospice is such a worthy charity that rain, hail, snow or sunshine I'm going to be there and run the 10k in less than an hour.

Northern Ireland Hospice also provide care for children and that is what this charity event I am running is for. Something always close to my father's heart is children's care and I am proud to be able to do this in his name and in his memory.

Please donate what you can. Remember it all goes to a worthy cause.
