Willowbrook Hospice, an independent charity covering St Helens & Knowsley in Merseyside, aims to enhance the quality of life, and relieve the suffering of patients with cancer and other life-limiting illnesses by providing Specialist Palliative Care for those in need and support for their carers.

Story

On Saturday 17th July I have taken on the challenge to abseil from one of the UK’s most amazing buildings. I will be descending 150ft from above the great West Door of the iconic Liverpool Anglican Cathedral.

I have chosen to raise money for Willowbrook Hospice, located in Prescot, who care for patients with life-limiting diseases living in St Helens, Knowsley and the surrounding areas.

Willowbrook Hospice make no charge for their services but rely on our own fundraising efforts and a modest contribution from the NHS. This enables them to provide support to patients and their families according to their individual needs.

I would really appreciate your support and to raise as much money as possible for Willowbrook Hospice.
