No parent should lose a child. But it happened to us. We lost Gav aged 20, in Sept 2021 to Bone Cancer (Ewing Sarcoma) after he fought against the disease for 7 years.

This disease is rare and doesn't have a good prognosis. Gav's wish knowing his terminal diagnosis was to raise money for research into Ewing's Sarcoma, and now small steps are being taken but research has so much further to go. The Bone Cancer Research Trust Liberty's Legacy fund is focused on this strain of the disease to improve outcomes and ultimately get to the point of a cure, we don't kid ourselves that is years away. Hey lets bring that day closer. Me; just an ordinary dad asked to do an extraordinary job. True back then and true going forward.

With “Giant Kev” the 5ft 10lb awareness raising mascot I am getting the word out there about Bone Cancer hope to get seen by 1000s over the London Landmarks Half at the start of April and the BIG one The London Marathon at the end of April.
