Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
In 2008 my Nanna, Jean Horner, died from Oesophageal Cancer. She was my best friend and a terrific lady. Like so many others, you can't comprehend the pain that people with Cancer have to cope with on a daily basis.
I have already raised money for Cancer Research UK via a Skydive in Sydney, Australia and in July 2011 I did another Skydive here in the UK where I raised money for the Teenage Cancer Trust. That particular Skydive ended badly, I broke my back and my wrist. Doctors told me that I may never walk again but after several weeks laid on a spinal bed I began to regain movement and started to walk with the help of the physios.
Just 10 months later I have begun training for the Bupa Great North Run 2012. Staying on the ground this time haha! I'm very lucky to still be alive and would like to do as much as I can to ensure others remain with us too!
A life lived for others is a life worth living....
