Story

So I am running the London Marathon again, I am raising money for a great charity whos research has helped me out recently.

Some of you already know I was diagnosed with Cancer last year, two weeks before my 30th birthday and only 6 months after losing my dad to Cancer.

I was actually very lucky. Thanks to all the research the Cancer Treatment Research Trust (CTRT) have undertaken over the years and the brilliant work Professor Rustin at Mount Vernon continues to do I was cured quickly. One year on, I now have a less that 1% chance of reoccurrence, which feels like better odds than before I was diagnosed (if you listen to everything they say on TV!!).

I am extremely grateful for Professor Rustin and Mount Vernon Hospital, it's thanks to their teams of professionals that I was diagnosed and treated so quickly. Your support will not only help me run the marathon but it will help others like me in getting faster and better treatment for Cancer.
