On the 25th June 2022 I will be participating in only my 2nd ultra. I will running 100km (62miles) in the cotswolds all in aid of Cancer research uk. As if running 100km wasn't a bigger enough ask in its self, I will be doing so whilst wearing a 10kg weighted vest.

Ive chosen Cancer research uk (not that there needs to be much reason) because unfortunately im certain everyone has been affected by cancer one way or another. Whether it be personally, a family member, close friend or just a someone we know.

Why the 10kg weighted vest you may ask. I personally love a challenge. Last year I ran my 1st 100km in the peak district and that was one of the most challenging things I've done, mentally and physically. Now that's ticked off my list and needed to test myself even further. "No growth in comfort" as they say.

A day of me in pain with carrying that weight is nothing compared to what the people and families affected by cancer have to go through. So hopefully i can raise as much money possible for this amazing charity.
