Brain Tumours kill more adults and children under the age of 40 than any other cancer.

This is exactly what has happened to Con De Lange and so so many others.

For those who done know Con, I am so sorry that you didn't get a chance to meet the finest gentleman I have ever met and my words do not do him justice, but hopefully my actions can.

Con first of all was a loving dad and husband to his wife Claire and kids, Rory and Daisy. They were always at the centre of everything he did and all he spoke about. 

Fortunately though I was lucky enough to meet Con through cricket. Con represented Scotland in 2015 where he took the team from strength to strength and this is where I and so many got to see his cheeky smile, his caring attitude but most importantly his competitive nature every day.

Unfortunately Con fell ill in 2017 and after fighting his tumour for 2 years passed away in 2019 aged just 38 with so much left to give to the world.

My words simply can not do him justice.

Con was the 672nd player to play cricket for Scotland so I plan to ride 672 miles in 7 days to try and raise as much awareness not only for him, his amazing family but to try and raise enough money to find a cure for this horrible cancer to stop it happening in the future. 

Too many great people like Con are dying too young.

Due to COVID regulations, our route now has had to change.  We now plan to cycle 672 miles ticking off many cricket clubs and destinations Con loved in Scotland. We will start in and around the Dundee area cycling to St Andrews, through fife, Perth and up to Aberdeen before going to Edinburgh and finishing in Glasgow
